About Mary
Born and raised in North Carolina, I was raised with small-town principles and values but always had an interest in going somewhere else and conjured big ideas in my head from a young age. As an athletic child, I gained a lot of confidence which only propelled my independent personality. For as long as I could remember, I had a curiosity in Medicine or being a doctor (often taught to us first instead of the word healthcare or the numerous other ways one can make a difference). As I enter my 40’s, I often feel as though I have lived a few lifetimes because I live fast, intense and meaningful wherever I am.
My luck in getting to work in foreign countries, the chance introduction to my husband many years ago, and my role as a spouse and mother in a multi-cultural family, my life has gone well beyond the daily life in an American rural small-town. I often tell people I met my soul and meaning for living this life in the Caribbean but to be honest, the exposure to developing markets made me mature as an adult. I have always had the good fortune of meeting individuals that have turned out to be life-long friends wherever I am, and in turn, has kept me on the path to discovering everything our world has to offer.
I am proud of my family, my marriage, and the efforts my professional and personal interests will hopefully contribute to a positive future for my children and many others. Having gone through many business cycles and ventures in various parts of the world, I am chartering a new but final path – the path that keeps the value and the customer at the front of decisions at all times. My life has come to a place where my personal interests have combined with my professional interests – I am able to live the life I want. There is no greater example of this in my life than the Little Palms Foundation, which was founded in 2019.
I split my time between my residence in the Caribbean, North Carolina, and my next trip. And because people often care, I do hold a Bachelors's and Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health respectively. #GoHeels

Little Palms Foundation
Little Palms Foundation, Inc. is a registered non-profit organization in North Carolina, United States with Ambassadors all over the world. Little Palms Foundation is committed to delivering year-round educational opportunities and access to resources during critical moments of need. Little Palms is in the process of completing and obtaining 501c3 status in the United States. Little Palms has several mission-driven programs that cover a broad range of age groups and purposes in the Education and Healthcare industries.

Co-Founded the development of several start-ups and entrepreneur ventures in international healthcare.
Co-Managed the opening, capacity building or daily management of various Public and Private healthcare facilities.
Founded an International Non-Profit, Little Palms Foundation, focused on providing educational resources and access to healthcare in countries that fall with the Tropics around the world.
Completed consultancies across the globe, including North America, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and Africa.
